Mission

Since 1983 The Endowment for Community Leadership has partnered with established leaders and organizations to help promote the values of faith, family, community, and civic responsibility.  Together, we develop leaders, as well as potential leaders, enabling them to serve their respective communities and their countries. Education and training plays a key role in this from the earliest age.

Vision

The Endowment for Community Leadership believes that life is most fully lived within the context of these guiding principles:

  1. That the purpose for life itself and proper values comes from a solid moral and spiritual foundation.
  2. That the well-being of the family is an essential foundation of our society and should be strengthened.
  3. That all human life has equal value and is to be protected.
  4. That education plays a key role in our development. It should be promoted and conducted according to these principles.
  5. That individuals must take responsibility for their own actions, lifestyle and behavior including the resulting consequences - even in the face of great adversity.
  6. That productive work is a necessary part of life. We gain much identity, self esteem and meaning in life by being involved in productive activity where reward is linked to achievement.
  7. That individuals and organizations have a responsibility to the society in which they live. As leaders we need to promote and model justice, ethics, morality and altruism for all citizens.

These seven principles guide the projects and strategies of The Endowment for Community Leadership.
